The armed conflict between Israel and Hamas-led Palestinian militant groups started on October 7, 2023 when terrorists attacked innocent Israeli civilians. More than 1,139 Israelis and foreign nationals were killed, including 815 civilians. It’s the fifth war in Gaza since 2008 and thus far, has been catastrophic for Palestinian civilians. Many experts have said it’s the most significant military engagement in the region since the Yom Kippur Wr in 1973.
